Dr. Carl “Patch” Poley has been a well-know and trusted physician in Northeast Wisconsin for more than 25 years. A graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1971, Dr. Poley completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1974 and was Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1977. After serving three years in the US Army, Dr. Poley came to Green Bay and joined the Beaumont Clinic (now Prevea) where he practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology until 1999. Dr. Poley’s comforting nature and professional demeanor made him a well liked and respected physician by his patients and colleagues. Dr. Poley’s extensive experience prepared him to become the Director of Medical Affairs for Prevea Health Plan, a position he held until his retirement in 2002.

Upon his retirement from Prevea, Dr. Poley realized that he still had much to offer the Northeast Wisconsin Health Care System and decided to pursue his long interest in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. After completing his training and coursework, Dr. Poley opened the Agapes Acupuncture clinic in March of 2007.

Dr. Poley’s professional goal is to work closely and communicate with a patient’s usual health provider(s) in order to develop a treatment plan that is as effective as possible.
